Sweet Lou's Cherries is a locally owned and operated cherry farm in Brentwood, California, where you can enjoy the traditional U-pick cherry experience during our short seasonal harvest. Come stroll through our orchard, pick your own fresh cherries, and enjoy a fun, family -friendly day on the farm. We also offer pre-picked cherries during the season.

YES!! Memorial day and weekend are known the be a wonderful time to cherry pick. The cherries are sweet and delicious and the experience is great fun!

Typically the trees are ready for picking late April/early May. The fruit needs to be just right for your arrival! The season ends around the end of June and sometimes even early July.

Our cherry season's timing slightly varies each season. The weather throughout the year is what determines when the cherries will be ready for picking. We don't know the exact opening date until we get very close to the time cherries are ready to be enjoyed. Keep a look out starting in April! Sweet Lou's grows Bing, Coral Champagne, Brooks, Royal Hazel, White Rainier, Santina and Sweetheart Cherries. The cherries ripen at different times during the season, so there's always something new to enjoy. W recommend checking our social media pages for frequent updates on what is currently available for picking.

Sweet Lou's grows Bing, Coral Champagne, Brooks, Royal Hazel, White Rainier, Santina and Sweetheart Cherries. Feel free to ask which varieties are ready for picking when you arrive at the farm. And visit the 'our cherries' page on this site to learn more about each variety.
